YOUR ROLE IN THE WORLD OF DO & CO

With the re-opening of our DO & CO Flagship Boutique Hotel in Vienna's 1st district at Stephansplatz, you have the opportunity to take on the role of Sushi Chef (m/f/d) within our culinary team.

Our Restaurant ONYX brings contemporary Asian cuisine to the heart of Vienna. The menu showcases a selection of authentic and modern dishes from our open kitchen, fiery Robata grill, and sushi counter, all designed to be shared and enjoyed together.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working alongside established chefs in a team of 6
• Preparing sushi dishes of high quality in our renowned open kitchen
• Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Working closely with the kitchen team to coordinate smooth service
• Maintaining the highest levels of food safety and sanitation standards
• Ensuring the timely delivery of food, while maintaining the highest levels of quality and consistency

Qualifications

WHAT SETS YOU APART

• Must have a chef's license or certification
• You have previous experience with making sushi dishes (Maki-, Nigiri- and Sashimi-Sushi)
• You are creative with a passion for delivering high quality dishes
• Strong attention to detail and a committment to quality
• You have effective communication skills and you work well in a team, as well as by yourself
• You are flexible and know how to handle pressure while maintaing a smile
• Proficiency in English and/or German

OUR ATTRACTIVE OFFER

• A salary that matches your expertise, starting from 3.400 gross. Depending on your qualifications and relevant professional experience, we are willing to offer a higher salary. Classification is based on the collective agreement for employees in the Austrian hotel and hospitality industry (Salary Group 3, minimum salary EUR 2,232; as of October 1, 2026).
