We are looking for an inspiring Manager to lead the BI Team spread across Europe.

BI SERVICE MANAGER M/F/D

LOCATION: VIENNA, AUSTRIA

YOUR TASKS:

BI STRATEGY AND ROADMAP:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive Business Intelligence strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify business requirements, understand data needs, and translate them into actionable BI initiatives.

BI SOLUTION DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of BI solutions
• Oversee the data integration process, data quality assurance, and data modeling efforts
• Drive the adoption of self-service BI tools and promote data democratization across the organization.

DATA VISUALIZATION AND REPORTING:

• Define best practices and standards for data visualization and reporting
• Collaborate with business users to understand their reporting requirements and develop intuitive dashboards and reports

PERFORMANCE MONITORING AND OPTIMIZATION:

• Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness and usage of BI solutions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, and executive leadership, to understand their BI needs.

LEADERSHIP AND TEAM MANAGEMENT:

• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of BI professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify areas for professional development and training.

COLLABORATION AND STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT:

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, and executive leadership, to understand their BI needs.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, understand their pain points, and proactively identify opportunities for leveraging BI to drive business growth.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Bachelor's degree or similar in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Proven experience (3-5 years) in business intelligence, data analytics
• Strong knowledge of BI concepts, data modeling, ETL processes, data governance and data visualization techniques
• Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar platforms and related languages as DAX, Python, M
• Experience with SQL, data warehousing and data integration technologies
• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
